7.1. Knee extension (sitting)
Knee extension (sitting)
Movements strengthened: This exercise helps to improve knee extension strength.
Suitable for: Use this exercise for people with 3-5/5 knee extension strength.
Instructions:
- Person sitting in chair with both feet flat on ground
- Person straightens leg in front of them
- Hold leg out straight for 5 seconds and then slowly lower back down
- Repeat 10 times
Where movement should be felt:
Person should feel this in the front of the thigh.
